This season desperately need some new blood. It’s been getting boring, confusing and disjointed like crazy lately. There’s no mission or clear goal here.
Mans is finding that his ancient clan has been under subjugation. He’s squashed beef with his cousin and eventually he’s gotta link his whole family up against their ancient enemies. It’s hard to follow if you ain’t reading the dialogue. Shi Hao is actually Hao Shi. Meaning he is of the Shi dynasty that is being mistreated for some reason, I suspect they lost an ancient battle.
I read the entire Novel and one of the co writers for the wiki – I think the PW team has done a marvelous job, with that being said due to the shitty translation many things are confusing even for me, if i hadn’t read the novel and know whats going on i would be confuse. I feel as though the immortal energy strand couldve been done better its mad confusing.
As for needing new blood, this is PW biggest flaw, chen dong biggest mistake was making the entire series about shi hao a one man army-i know the novel is about his rise but he didn’t have to do everything on his own.. shi hao came into so many opportunities that he will start to become ridiculously powerful and everyone else got left behind..his cultivation were just to fast for others to keep up with… but new blood will appear after the immortal ancient arc.
Btw- The goal for Shi hao is to get strong in immortal ancient so he wont have to hide from his enemies anymore thats his goal- he wants to atleast become a heavenly deity after exiting immortal ancient. IA normally last anywhere from 300yrs -1000yrs and this time around its the last one so the greatest treasure will be found. Shi hao will learn may secret like in this episode about his blood sin ancestors and also Liu shen as well –he will also be constanly hunted down–hang in there it wil become crzy good soon and after IA is over that when it get extra good.
