MC got pulled into the void territory where he learned the real history between the 2 realms and why his realm was persecuted. (why they call him slave). this happened when he stepped into the ancient battlefield or whatever. the border between the 2 realms where a war is about to pop off and he basically disappeared mid battle so people are asking questions. if ur still lost then ur just a f ing r tard.
After the battle in the Ancient Immortal Realm, Shi Hao realizes that a great war is approaching. He comes to understand that the Willow Deity didn’t kill certain enemies because they would be needed for the upcoming conflict. A newly established sect called Tianshen Academy appears, seeking to gather top geniuses and bring them to the imperial border in preparation for the war. Initially, they planned to recruit only the most exceptional talents from the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, but they eventually changed their minds, allowing anyone to join—as long as they could pass a test.
During the trial, Shi Hao uncovers the truth of how a previous era was destroyed by a foreign realm’s invasion. After passing the test, all qualified geniuses are taken to the Imperial Border.
At the border, a mysterious cauldron appears—Ye Fan’s cauldron, the one from Shrouding the Heavens. It shows Shi Hao a vision of the future, warning him of the grave danger to come. Though they needed his help in that future, he had arrived too early. The future he witnesses is bleak and filled with despair, pushing Shi Hao to make a vow: to change the future and defeat all enemies, both past and present. The cauldron then sends him to the foreign realm.
Ye Fan had sent Shi Hao there so he could witness the foreign realm firsthand and understand the threat it posed. Once in the foreign realm, Shi Hao discovers a shocking truth: the people there believe they are the rightful owners of the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths. They claim to have been driven out by so-called “demons” and view the “Immortals” as their saviors.
This completely contradicts everything Shi Hao had learned, throwing him into confusion and forcing him to question the truth of history. He eventually realizes that the inhabitants of the foreign realm are actually descendants of the Immortal Ancient Era—just like him. However, their memories and understanding have been tampered with, causing them to view the other realms as demonic enemies.
After this revelation, Shi Hao returns to the cauldron, which sends him back to the Imperial Pass. Upon returning, Ye Fan severs a spatial node linking the two realms. Shi Hao soon discovers that, as a result, he almost loses all memory of the foreign realm. This leads him to realize that the same thing likely happened to the people of the foreign realm: someone severed the connection between realms and implanted false memories, causing them to see others as enemies.
Afterward, Ye Fan says goodbye to Shi Hao and returns to his own time, having come too early. When Shi Hao returns to the border, the others are puzzled and suspicious—because when the cauldron took him, he vanished completely, and no one could sense his presence during that time.
