My Favorite scene is where Huang and his rival kicking and punching those two and they pass it to each other like a soccer ball.
Deep plot with no context for so long, power scaling being all over the place and fights that always seem drawn out, but maybe it’s just because of the power scaling issue. Hopefully they can reign it in, but this just keeps getting bigger and more complex without any real resolutions…
Yeah, I totally get you. Fights without any real ending and bad guys that can’t seem to realize they’re in the wrong and should just stop messing with Huang. I love a good showdown but would like to see a good reaction/result at the end, they say the winner writes history but in Huang’s case… everyone seems to just hate him for no reason. They’re all essentially on the ‘same side’ and fighting this foreign terrorist, but they can’t seem to stop the fighting on their own end? I mean, they’ve all been cultivating for so long and have gained so much knowledge but can’t seem to stop acting like they’re out of grade school. And they’re not even trying to hide their hate on Huang and no one powerful enough is punishing those fools? We’re literally at ep230… can I have more than a couple people with some logical thinking skills?
Why even bring those weak students who just scream and get killed in an instant? I thought the process to get where they are was created by selecting the best of the best from each region? And a sect that boasts they are essentially the best have students that get killed by the first enemy minion they meet? Make this make sense for me?
This has truly become a garbage show since they all came to Nine heavens. Pacing is weird, so much is packed into a single episode. I can’t imagine how someone is able to follow this plot who hasn’t read the novel. Perhaps can’t really blame the show creators as the novel also started going downhill somewhere around this point. I think the donghua and the novel were way more interesting when they were in the lower realms and in the three thousand provinces arc.
