Synopsis : 6000 years ago, the Demon God Emperor, Feng Xiu, and the 72 Demon God Pillars came from the sky, and all creatures were affected by the Demon God Pillar’s breath, turning into demon creatures. Without going too far into spoiler land… Does this mean that his father has accepted everything or does this mean the writers for the series has just changed the storyline? Can anyone confirm?
It appears that they have changed the story line from the novel. In the novel, Haochen’s father misunderstood his wife and thought Haochen is The Demon God’s son.
Kinda and kind of not and yes your right that’s what it looked like at the time but there’s actually good reasons for the edits I would try to explain but every time I have tried it ended up being an essay 10+ paragraphs
I guess all I’m lawfully and legally allowed to say at the moment is probably, the edits are well intended, reflect more of the unseen truth, and it was actually Haochen’s father who was deeply misunderstood back then
Time isn’t a straight line it cycles like the hands in a clock, and as time progresses, we learn new things about old events, no disrespect meant to the author, the animators, or the people, places, events that gave inspiration for this and other series of stories (different story’s, same topic, different peoples perspectives, all entwined yet all different because each saw things through there own lense of perception, experience, judgement, emotion and understanding)
I’ll Also add, thank you everyone, for reminding me why I still cling to both life, & “good” over “evil” for healing, and sealing the wounds on this soul. Everyone from auther, to animator, to the people we passed by through random chance that assisted along the way.
I experienced a lot of things, and one of the oldest lessons come to mind, never forget to guard your own memories, many will try to use them to sever important ties in life so never let your minds remain open for long.
For a good friend will heal, but a bad one will destroy, and it’s often time we only learn that years down the line.

Throne of Seal powers is trash anyway and I’m happy that long xiingyu terminate his contract to that trash throne powers that is only good and nice in display. I hope long haochen will also terminate his contract to that throne of seal, its a trash power anyway and those who has throne of seal powers keeps on relying to that power and still losing to the main enemies, just termnate their contracts and let that throne of seal powers stay in one place and become a display. They forgot their old powers their old techniques that they hone before they got that trash throne of seal power that has no leveling up system that increases their strength.
If you really don’t like the story that much then why are you watching it?
also do you have any idea how much original source material has been condensed down just to make it fit within the time available?
there focusing mostly on important parts while weaving in little winks to those that actually were involved in the very first building blocks of this story and the authors works too.
this goes back years and speaks deeply to certain personality archetypes and inspiration sources while still telling a massive amount of the story, & honestly I admire both the story makers and animation studios efforts, because for the very few people who actually were involved, this is important to them all
so again I ask you.
if you don’t like it, why are you watching it?
