If you carefully look into the beginning of the 1st EP the one who is fighting with the gods is AO XUE, which is the one-hand dude. the other two Nezha and Ao jian are just extra, ig.

In first ep, this guy got the dragon god body and called the golden dragon.. So he should be mc doesn’t it
Just an opinion but I think the dragon spirit donghua relates to another donghua called xi xing ji (journey to west). Familiar characters appears on both shows such as Ao Xue one of the dragon prince.
ao xue is the mc.. watch the first ep! but so is the ao jiao!
both are mc here as ao jiao has more responsbility!
