If I remember correctly, it was different in the novel… but I don’t remember exactly, I read it about 2 years ago, maybe 3… Lin Dong and Quingzu didn’t even meet on the battlefield, he probably hid in the crowd of students and decided that it was too early to show himself to her – but I could be wrong.
