Synopsis : Fifth season of Doupo Cangqiong. The Great Continent of Combat Qi is a place where the strong rule over the weak. Xiao Yan, a once up and coming genius of the Xiao Sect, suddenly lost all his talent at the tender age of 11. Now a 15-year-old boy, Xiao Yan is scorned by the very people who previously looked up to him, and is on the verge of being kicked out of his clan. his cultivation was higher than xian yan, so it took time
Even after finishing reading the novel, the power-leveling seen in the last few episodes is ridiculous.
Few episodes before, a Dou Sheng was a legendary figure rarely seen except maybe in an ancient tomb, or an ancient clan like the Gu.
Now, it’s raining Dou Sheng left and right.
I stopped reading and watching because the donghua was very repetitive.
But gotta admit, this episode is pretty cool! The hypercube spell was dope, there was some conflict that did not get resolved by the Xiao Yan striking the final blow. Even some hints of a drama!
To me looks like the series has improved a bit. Maybe even worth revisiting if they drop the “haha! He’s just level N, he stands no chance against N+1… 5min later… How did he do that!? ” trope
