I’ll be honest, Soul Land 2: The Peerless Tang Sect is getting worse with every episode. This doesn’t feel like a proper sequel to Soul Land 1 at all. The story is messy, the power system makes no sense anymore, and the MC is stuck in the same stupid loop: power-up, get taken out, disappear, come back, power-up again. It’s just going in circles with no real growth or consequences. Nothing feels earned, nothing sticks.
What makes it even worse is how hard the show keeps forcing the romance. Almost everything revolves around it, yet the chemistry feels completely fake and cringy. Instead of world-building or meaningful character development, we get repetitive emotional scenes that don’t land at all. And the biggest joke? He’s supposed to be a necromancer, yet that concept is barely explored or used in any interesting way. At this point, the show feels bloated, directionless, and creatively exhausted. Episode by episode, it’s actively ruining the legacy of Soul Land rather than building on it.

After reading all of the comments here, i gladly agreed with everything these people said. One thing for sure, it is getting cringe and annoying. Bro meet new enemies, get defeated/ killed, got new power up, got defeated/killed, got new power up then it just endless cycle or milking. Even tang san died a few times and yet why dont people comment the same thing like this series then? Tang san also did the endless cycle but no one shitting on the first series. It’s obvious, bcs THIS FRICKING DUDE HAVE TOO MANY POWER UP AND PLOT ARMOUR AND YET STILL GOT BODIED WORSE THAN TANG SAN. He have 3 martial soul, and not to mention all those ice people inside his head and necromancy. Bruh at this point this series just turn into that throne of seal series just endless milking and pointless cycle or powerup.

Honestly, I thought Tang San was the absolute peak of stupidity in this entire franchise,but clearly, I was giving him too much credit. I was wrong. Somehow, we’ve actually managed to find someone even more brain-dead.

I don’t even see it as a sequel. It’s another story set YEARS after the first one. Sure, there’s the Tang Clan and Donger, but that’s only N element of it. Sure there’s Tang San, but it’s not his story right now. Just an annoying element to this story. So it goes. Can’t please everyone.
Rather than be moaning and bit**ing about every little thing, I look at the other elements and go from there.
