Synopsis : Fifth season of Doupo Cangqiong. The Great Continent of Combat Qi is a place where the strong rule over the weak. Honestly, they’re making this MC stuff more ridiculous, three star Dou Sheng? Like Dou Sheng? Hmm.
It might sound ridiculous now because hes fighting dou shengs, but ever since the beginning, hes been better than people a few levels higher. At 1 star dou zhong and dou zun, he was better than 2-3 star dou zongs and zuns.
Either people have forgotten or they start watching late and are just plain ignorant.
So he can defeat Zi Yan a four star Dou Sheng if he chooses to right? It is very ridiculous. Why he was able to beat the first Dou Zhong master Yun Yun was because of Yao Lao his master. There is a reason stars matter as a discrepancy between power scaling but they’re making it too ridiculous.
I wouldn’t mind him beating more powerful opponents if fighting smart mattered. But it doesn’t, someone more powerful can just shrug off attacks that delete mountains because “i stronk duh”. Except MC, who habitually beats such people, but not before 15 minutes of circlejerk about how evil they are, and not without coming in the last possible second to save the day. Getting awfully repetitive.
its because the gap between 2 and 3 star Dou sheng isn’t that much, and now that he has the xiao clan’s purest bloodline, he can use his bloodline power to increase cultivation temporarily, and as the stars of Dou sheng increase we will see three more division in each star ( early, intermediate, late). so the power gap between each star will increase, that’s why a 2 star can fight 3 star for now, but its like Dou Huang and Dou Jong gap in 8 and 9 stars of Dou sheng.
lemme correct u why he can fight 3 3 star dou shengs now, tbh he cant win but he can still cope up with them or else he wudnt need zi yan to defeat them lol…
well to sum up rn, he is using his pure xiao bloodline thats only one now and mind u ig u didnt watch early episodes maybe, but gu xianer gu clan bloodline was merged too with xiao bloodline when his ancestor xiao xuan gave him bloodline, soo basically its much more powerful than the past xiao bloodline…. bcoz of which he can increase his power level to 2 star intermediate dou sheng stage rn iirc (there are 3 divisions in 1 dou sheng stage, soo early, mid/intermediate, late/advanced)… soo basically he is currently 2 star intermediate dou sheng rn (not 1 star late dou sheng bcoz of his bloodline)..
also, his both angry buddha lotus skill (which is merging of 5 heavenly flames rn) and yellow palm river (a saint level soul attack skill) both are top notch skills that can overpower anyone…
one more thing u guys forgot is that, dragons here are very powerful in their bodies, not soul wise… soul wise only phoenixes are strong, thats why he couldnt contend with ancient heavenly phoenix clan that easily, also he was saving his energy for later…
soo basically, all of that played a important role too lmao, both are multi attack skills ig (only gamers will know or relate to this situation like how strong it can be when used on enemies when they werent expecting it yk… soo yeaa it was all on timing)
and, like i said, he can only fight not defeat them, soo basically he can contend with some unexpected moves only rn, but not really win against them or else he wouldnt even need zi yan to increase her power level too with her bloodline

well even then it wud be hard for them cuz whts coming for them is going to be more dreadful now.. iirc zi yan can reach 5th stage dou sheng with her power level boost and her dragon spear, but those 3 dragon kings gonna merge (just like dragon ball z vegito- goku and vegeta fusion lol), soo yeaa they will be equal to 5th stage early too iirc or maybe mid stage, soo yeaaa on and avg its almost equal power level…
and i will say it again xiao yan is still nowhere close to fight those 3 dragon kings without his op skills and sneak attacks, if they were not underestimating him and if they were prepared, those attacks wudnt even scratch them a bit (or else why do u think even without dragon emperor- peak/half step 9th stage dou sheng) ancient void dragon tribe is still a clan to be feared lol
