What so confusing about this movie? this happen during the time shi shao met up with huo linger. Pll are to focus on Hao, not everything revolves around him, characters have their trouble and live their lives, otherwise how could they become strong?
I thing ppl are confuse because up until now they are not properly following the story because of the inconsistency of the translation at times. if the novel weren’t so long id suggest everyone read it.. its amazing. but had you read it, this movie would make more sense because you would get the overall about the sin blood, the city they are in and why foster mother wants to break free. it all times to a tiny part overall story in a way.
Btw i see people saying they thought the main villain would be an’lan in this movie? are you pll nuts? anlan is an immortal king, just a thought would eradicate the entire 3000 provinces, if all the strongest cultivators in the 3000 province come together and pour all their power into one person and send it at anlan, he would even need to move, it would be like trowing an egg at the greatest mountain to ever exist…this analogy should explain why its impossible that anlan cant be in this movie.
So this is what has happened before SH went to the ancient realm. So similar to the demon hunter before its S2, a little peek of what happened before the main event. Both in all peak to that.
