Synopsis : Fifth season of Doupo Cangqiong. The Great Continent of Combat Qi is a place where the strong rule over the weak. Xiao Yan, a once up and coming genius of the Xiao Sect, suddenly lost all his talent at the tender age of 11. Now a 15-year-old boy, Xiao Yan is scorned by the very people who previously looked up to him, and is on the verge of being kicked out of his clan. what xun er said about Xiao Yan always being assumed as weak and lowly makes sense. He achieved a lot great things and proved many times how strong he is so I wonder why they still think he can be pushed aside
Because people don’t watch another person’s growth, or someone you just met. They did not see how that person become strong. They did not see how he got powerful enough that he can contend with them. The only thing they see is a guy in the boonies who got lucky that’s why he became a little strong, and to them, he still lacks what they have received from their clan. What are those? It’s those who have higher cultivation that gave them guidance (perhaps), that gave them cultivation items, that gave them better training, that gave them the audacity to belittle others who have no equal or good background. Besides, they can belittle him all they want since, in their book, they have higher cultivation level, means they are much more powerful.

because he is from a fallen clan and had nothing.. the peoples hes with right now are basically like dou di level clans. clans with truly deep resources. xiao yan is a 1 in a trillion case. hes been so insanely lucky with his skills, treasures, etc. how could someone born from infinite wealth really accept that some random off the street got this lucky? i mean its why xuner admires and loves xiao yan so much. she knows how much hes struggled to compete with people that can obtain any treasure or resource necessary.
Xuner’s rank is never mentioned even during the Jianan Academy Arc also up to this point in the Novel. You just have to assume she’s a Rank 8 or 9 Dou Zun.
im pretty shes guesstimated to be 9 star but she can punch up like xiao yan so its so hard to say. shes basically a chosen child. a protagonist in her own right. she has so many trump cards.
I noticed a serious decline in animation quality recently. Xiao Yan’s uncanny smile frankly creeps me out sometimes. Very Joker like. They stretch it way too far in the corners. It’s a damn shame what happened to this once great animated series.
Only thing I hate about BTTH now, which used it to be decisive but now they stretch a villain’s who screentime has already passed. This two idiots should have been Xun’er stepping stones showcasing her power! Done, then over and done with. Next villain but no they magically run away. NO VISION!
Watch how they are going to drag this fight in the next episode and those two might now even die
