I read the first twelve chapters of the novel, and it is quite different from what I expected. The hero fought in the mansion, defeating everyone except for a young villain, who was left severely injured. The hero’s grandfather was not present; he had gone to confront the chief of the clan to seek revenge against the young villain following the beating the hero received from him the previous day. During that beating, the young hero died and supreme emperor was transmigrated into his body. Instead, the hero’s aunt was at the mansion. The hero then set off to rescue his grandfather and ended up killing nearly everyone he encountered there, including two strong cultivators. There was no sign of the Fire Lion.
So I am curious how many changes they made to adapt this anime.
