  1. This is officially the best donghua ever.
It’s so easy to connect with.
It truly illustrates the hardships a mortal must endure to become a cultivator. Other donghuas just skipped through this or even turn their family members into immortals or resurrect them all(SS or LXY)

    1. its easy to connect with the feels.. going off to college, returning home years later and going thru the things you once treasured in high school.. only a few years can change us..

    2. agreed, it shows every aspect of life. creators really outdid themselves.

    1. he left it for his sister as wedding gift. He visited his home that time and saw a wedding procession. He avoided meeting a family but left money for them and this bracelet for his sister

    2. It’s the bracelet his little sister made for him as her last gift when he left home for the Seven Mysterious Sect. Literally ran up to his departing cart, and she desperately handed it to him.

Then, it’s the same bracelet he kept on him over the years to remind himself of his sister and family.

When he was forced to leave the Seven Mysterious Sect and entered the cultivation world, he visited his home-area on his way out. Discovered his sister was getting married, so he then used the bracelet to “sign” his wedding gift for her.

    3. Thats a bracelet Han Li sister gave to him. Then he left it with some Gold. when he decided to pursue cultivation. he return to his Home town to see them one last time and it’s exactly the day his sister gotten married.

  2. I enjoyed the episode.
    A passing dream
    Realization of the truth
Good on them! Han Li should be remembered, imo.

  3. just imaging you try to exterminate a family in a remote border town of rural mortal kingdom as a demonic cultivator and as keep slaughtering them , your blood lust going off the roof so you sensed them in a certain room where all the remaining members are located in massive number..
you get excited and in a most exciting way run at that room and break it open but suddenly massive wave of spiritual pressure gets unleashed and even as foundational establishment cultivator make you kneel completely and your seven orifice get shattered!

you are thinking,” what is happening ? how could there be such a natal treasure in this mortal town? even heavens wants me dead/.. wait what is this… i cant see clearly….gasp.. gasp.. so intense light… this is immortal lord han li’s natal weapon… no… ah…”

    end.

  4. This donghua truly depicts trials and tribulations without skipping anything and going back and recalling the past and paying homage is wonderful. No other donghua can compare to this in any way.

  5. What an amazing episode. No matter how long you lived eventually you will miss home. As you getting old you will reminisce the old time.

  6. Would that sword made with Gold Beetle possibly defend them against a peak nascent soul late stage or even a deity transformation 🤔

That ancestral artifact has limitation of 3 usage when why not give them lifetime assurance of safety for generations.. Decades.. Even centuries..
I wss thinking sometimes do HanLi care for his family cus I think not quite..

He should wish for their family longetivity so they can help ppl in their hardship and maintain peace

Wang Lin did better, left his wooden statue as artifact with atleast Deity transformation or was that soul transformation prowess quite enough on that realm

What if such cultivator attacked them,

    1. Did you not understand what Han Li said? He said 3 times is enough to save the Hans from total clan extermination. Family’s rise and fall, it is only the natural flow of fate. He is an immortal and has now cut off the last string to his mortal side. What he has done is already far enough for his descendants. He is practically a stranger to them now. Basically, everyone has their own fate.

      1. bruh what am I saying?!

I know HanLi said 3times was enough.. and thinking about his cautious nature, just because he says so then that’s it?! when he could’ve done the best for them even after cutting mortal ties with his own family and he cant possibly some stranger to them literally when he’s their ancestor even after erasing memories because his image was drawn on their family hall. I think he’s lacking on that part if he truly cares for them.

WangLin and HanLi hasd their own different story but when it comes to someone who really cares to his comrade, I believe WangLin did better leaving a statue at certain highest level to fend off possible threats for generations w/o limitations.,

Im pointingg out.. HanLi could’ve gave them an ancestral artifact that can protect them for years .. generations, I’m not saying for them.. each and everyone of his kin to live like an immortal eternally when they’re mortals because mortals born, live and usually die of old age, what so called natural flow of fate.

not even thinking about dominating the whole lower realm even Heavenly South..
when the only sole purpose of the artifact is to protect them from extermination/threats that can possibly done by a nascent soul or even a deity transformation cultivator as a maximum lvl .. randomly with ill intent for some unknown reasons and I don’t think and believe they’ll abuse lets hope not.

now that their family prospers, I believe the possibility of their fall would be low and most of with ill intent was those who envy their family.. like they can’t just totally fall out of nowhere srlsy. What made them rise was their good nature deeds, I don’t believe they’ll fall and that “rise and fall” as natural flow of faith could possibly happen not only to this story but also in general.

even in ch1na, powerful families not instantly fall unless maybe they can’t protect themselves and/or someone with higher status became abusive.. so going back to the story even if someone powerful appear for as long as they can protect themselves againsts threat with the help of the ancestral artifact without usage limit, applicable only in their city at certain area.. that would be better. not about being selfish

    2. If the Han Clan were attacked, I don’t think there’s much Han Li could do. RMJI also follows a more traditional style of cultivation, one that emphasizes leaving behind mortal attachments, since these can affect a person’s cultivation or become inner demons.

Cultivation itself goes against the Heavens, where all things are meant to follow cycles of growth and decline. Han Li cannot grant eternity to the Han Clan, even though immortality itself is generally seen as defying the will of Heaven. Depending on the story, those who seek immortality or godhood must go through multiple reincarnations, suffering, or like in RMJI face and survive Heavenly Tribulations to reach higher realms or ascend.

Han Li has his own path to follow in order to achieve his goals. From early on, he understood this and separated himself from his family.

In contrast, Wang Lin struggled deeply with his parents’ deaths and couldn’t accept them at first, trying instead to resurrect them. Only after going through much hardship did he finally understand their choice letting them enter the reincarnation cycle and, through that realization he got some enlightenment.

      1. Exactly! Han Li isn’t Wang Lin, their cultivation styles are very different. Han Li avoided direct confrontations if he could and kept his head down while Wang Lin dove head first into fire.

Han Li has done his best for the Hans. He protects them from 3 clan extermination, which could last for thousands of years. Maybe the sword will never even get used at all? I’m sure that as long as his descendants stay good, no one will want to kill them all.

But imagine if there was an evil Emperor and wanted to kill everyone in the clan! Sends thousands of soldiers to this town but end up getting annihilated. That would be fun to watch.

      1. I am reminded of a certain clan Wang Lin exterminated once he reached Nascent Soul.

If Han Li were to move back and live in this town so he could protect his descendants, his cultivation would be halted. No challenges for him to overcome means no growth.

    3. Everyone has their own path. The fact that Han Li descendants didn’t have spiritual roots is clear here and Han Li understood that.

  7. Han Li thought that this is the last time he will meet his descendant but later after 1000 years after Han Li reached Grand Ascension Realm he will send his clone to the mortal world searching for something (regarding his cultivation), there he will meet his descendant again.
