They made it too cinematic. tsk tsk tsk i was really looking forward to it, sigh…
1- The huang/he wushang never got power from their side on an aura (will to fight) from each side during the battle.
2- Neither were suddenlty and drastically on the loosing side in this battle. It was set that way to show that now that our MC has gone beyond the limits in every realm it truly means something, even in the other side.
3- This battle ended in mutual destruction and absolutley epic. He Wushang used a finger sword to pierce through Huang’s head. Huang used a punch and bashed through He Wushang’s head. Why didn’t they do it that way?!!! would gave been sooo amazing!!
4- The sword doesn’t need to merge with the bone to fight the the bloody cup (immortal pot) it can 1v1 by itself
3. wasn’t it the same in donghua lol i mean it was mutually destructive, and then both were dead. huang’s head (that skull) was pierced by he wushuang’s finger. huang used a punch but yeaa wht i think is that scene will just take more budget, especially one more scene frame soo yk this will go to next episode yeaa?
thats my opinion only, but main reason can be that censorship too yk.. this studio is already showing many brutal scenes lol, from wht ik is that its already crossing many rules and wht not… soo i dont really mind not seeing that scene of piercing lol (im not against brutal scenes, its just that it can be chaotic sometimes lol, yk how some ppl can act just to satiate their own world (ykiyk)
soo u hv to consider studio bigger picture too yk (that blood scenes and fight is already considered gore/extreme violent scene imo- tbh i love that too but i dont want the entire dongua to cease to exist)- this feels surreal to me too lol but yeaa just wanted to see from different perspective ig xD
anyways, first one seems more plausible that is budget and time one, bcoz i love this studio work fr
XD that is true, can only show so much violence. The head smashing would be too much and if the really started animating exactly like the novel then this will never finish.
I definitely agree that the studio is doing an amazing work which why we all gather here every friday.
