Has anyone noticed? In these anime, dodging is a lost art. If someone tries to attack you, the only option is to let that attack hit you head on, then try to block, deflect or overpower it. If even one main character appeared whose main ability was dodging attacks and counterattacking, they would be the strongest of the strong in most fights.
I get blocking an attack to stop it from hitting something you don’t want injured, damaged or destroyed, but outside of that? …Move out of the way, stupid!
