He is so useless and unserious in the donghua. So much was skipped – the true harem seems to be gone or something as well? His disciple should have been one of his wives in the future and should have already been found before all of this on this planet, but it seems like all the arcs were just skipped and are gone. (He was never really growling on the ground and begging all the time in the novel nor manhua, he never had to rely on others to save himself or his wives.. He was serious, dominant and had the power and will to protect the people around him – like a true Great Emperor..)
In the novel, he could have already fought Half-step Saints at this point. It makes sense, since he defeated a Great Emperor – even if the Demon Emperor was suppressed, he was still at the peak of the MC’s realm. So it could be considered a major realm difference, plus he had Great Emperor – level techniques and weapons – at least that demons power was close to a Half-step Saint.
