I thought the same during episode 1. I figure this arc must explain mc bloodline origins to set up the next season. i dont want to binge watch romcom shyt so i need to watch these as they release otherwise i might drop this series too
Is the MC crippled? Where are his usual powerful techniques? It’s definitely starting to feel like “throne of the seal” where MC fails to accomplish something and now has to go on another journey to fix his failure

what the hell s this stupid episode doesnt make any sense? This completely contradicts the story s1 and s2 and They have completely derailed from the novel and now this bullshit. Seems like they are avoiding facing the truth and dont know how progress the story forward.
did you not watch the previous seasons? when he severed his “fate” it was basically the studio saying they’re not following the novel fully or if at all. donghua is basically its own story now.
I did read the novel and manhua as well and watched the previous episodes but it doesn’t make any sense to give him pheonix transformation in the past, when he doesnt have that power in s2. He already cultivated his secret technique and recovered his cultivation and he is combining 3 styles together? So what is the point of this episode to give a pheonix transformation for a single episode is it money. Are they trying to get enough money to show that this story is popular or something like that to continue s3? Why did they not continue from s2?
Go back to re-watch the 1st episode if you’re confused about the storyline. The 2 ladies asked A-Chuan how He and Qiyue fell in love with each other; so, he’s simply telling about their story…it started way back to season one… so what’s happening in this episode was actually the past…
Aight.. watched the episode… fight was dope af.. not sure it has consequences in the story.. his moms seemed to have them dragon horns in her saint form in that flashback.. is mc bloodline a dragon? His moms past aint been explored at any point in the story, only hinted during the fiend arc.. or maybe he could do a baptism to awaken a bloodline later.. i fuck with the lightning form.. and the fire from the phoenix form was dope too.. that mist shyt with the dragon was cool, there are probably other divine beast bloodlines to see.. even weaker ones like snake and poison or rat and plaque.. idk hope this romcom side story ends..
Man the episode was good but I we know mc and his girls relationship in first seasons we know they are in love why can’t studio focus on mc alone on this season I hope this doesn’t end like throne of seal 😔
