Actually good depiction of war / large scale battle for once! Instead of showing individual skirmishes, just overwhelm the viewer with effecfs depicting the tide going back and forth mass wiping soldiers! Low on details, focus on scale.
Many great donghuas fall flat attempting to depict massive battles because small individual fights are written with attention to details and focus on magic, weapons etc, but large battles give the animation crew nothing to work with. In Renegade Immortal, Soul Land, Rmji, all massive battles turn into pathetic laser pointing with occasional fireballs.
This is such a breath of fresh air! Kudos to the team!
Jade Dynasty is probably still no 1 in this category, but this is a creatively different approach.
