Firstly, they killed/erased He Yao in the donghua parallel reality who is number 4 in the ranking, and who, in the novel reality, is alive and will participate in the interacademic tournament as a member of Shen Cangsheng team.
Moreover, they have now the impudence to kill/erase even Su Ling’er during attack over academy, concocted by the studio, but keep alive side characters (students) who are non-existent in the novel. 🤷♂️
And finally, his mother Qing Yanjing, who is Saint-Grade Spiritual Array Ancestor (Sovereign), can be spied and pried by Holy Spiritual Academy and Ji Xuan w/o noticing it, right?! 🤪 They are like annoying flies in her eyes. 🤫
That’s another unnecessarily added storyline by the studio, which is not in the novel. 🥱
Fr they literally changed soo many things, like they even added this “mirror of judgement” plot beforehand…
It wasn’t mentioned until or unless my chen had a final battle with ji xuan after getting nirvana netherworld bird power.. and defeating that skyhawk sovereign..
But here we are, mu chen already got to know what is mirror of judgement and it’s use, its not really that important but it sure is, cuz later on it will be used to find black paper source. And other immortal body parts, also portal to nine netherworld bird clan and origins (soo its a important part for me)..
Anyways, removing su linger and he yao was soo annoying ngl cuz they sure did play a role later on… Fk studio fr
Participation of Wen Busheng in the Divine Spiritual Mountain Competition was quite a surprise for me. 😏
Initially, I wasn’t able to recall his character and had to check if he was from Wen clan and was related to that mischievous lass Wen Qingxuan. 🥰

On another note, I don’t mind more scenes with Xiao Xiao, especially since she was lately removed from the BTTH donghua. The studio could also be bolder with their changes by introducing Lin Jing earlier. She is so lively and cheerful. 😉
