It’s unusual for mc to step up and face the enemy like this.. he usually hides his cultivation until absolutely necessary to not tip his hand.. always dragged along by circumstance.. like he did that in the trip to the foreign lands for that secret treasure which fox girl stole all the boxes except the one the direct descendent got.. mc hid his cultivation the entire time, none know how deep his foundation runs.. idk maybe cus soul cultivator can cut off divine sense mc can expose all his tricks.. but at what cost? This probably aint the only soul cultivator and mc being the only one that can defeat them, the gone send him to every front line
For one, he’s an elder and this is kind-off for their survival. Also on that trip he had gone there as an individual for personal matters and there everyone was there for their own benefit. Here they’ve come to protect their nations. Also he usually analyzes a situation before stepping in so if he’s going in he’s sure his chances are high to win. Also from the beginning of the show if he engages you himself and has to expose his trump cards you aren’t getting out alive.
