After all this time i still find it hard to get into a story where every episode contains 1 or may be 2 scenes.
Seems like the first episode was cut off.. nie li was fighting in the second episode.
They sure did cut the budget back. This is like the 3rd season with even worse directing.
Yeah, it’s a little sad. I started reading novels because of this wuxia, and even the cultivation genre started for me with this novel. I know Tales of Demons and Gods isn’t the most mature or the most interesting novel out there, but it’s like a first love…you can never forget it.
The saddest thing is that the adaptation is fucking shit. What’s even worse is that the author is known for never finishing his novels, so that’s probably why no huge studio wants to buy the rights and adapt it into a proper 3D donghua.
Definitely cut the episodes a little too short here, made it a little harder to follow at those moments.
