I thought it was a nice change in pace. The Fight, Run, find new relic, kill or replace “fight and run” with betrayal. I like both sides of it though.
i agree that it was good change, i know im in the minority here, but after some time it became rather boring and i don’t think it was made well enough, chinese manhuas excel on epic fights, not so much in emotional stuff. I liked his first time when he was in the mortal realm, it was also nice change of pace and it hit me more than this did
oh i have also got some fatique for the usual artifact hunt etc, i remember the time he was in the god’s body or something and had to battle with formations and those guys who were much stronger than him, also the demon realm when he had all those souls after him, that was when this series peaked imo
He rarely deliberately searches for artifacts. Most of his stuff these days is either a loot drop or accidental find. Compare that to RMJI, where resource gathering is the key aspect of cultivation.
Your fatigue is probably causes by systematic introduction of never before seen bullshit that counters another never before seen bullshit. Power levels mean nothing, no limits on spells. All fights look different but feel the same. There is only one rule of the battle: whoever says “NANI?!” loses the exchange and coughs some blood.
But there’s a beauty in this too. Very little repetition, for example, and we can appreciate the creativity required to keep this thing fresh!

The way the arc was written in the novel was really good. These few episodes despite lacking in the details did portray just enough.
